ISA round up - 7th September
07/09/2026
Easy access ISA rates remain in tact with Moneybox taking top spot from Hargreaves Lansdown - but the bemoth investment manager looks set in at 4.52% and we expect this will prop the market up for a while longer. 1 Year ISA best buys dropped off a touch but there's plenty of support around 4.70% - 4.75% so we see no likelihood of further falls. Meanwhile, 5 Year ISAs have seen prices soar with 4.91% now available. We don't think 5% will be broken but with the ongoing Iran War fuelling rates, anything is possible. Here's our round up of the best buys and key changes in Individual Savings Accounts:
Moneybox have reclaimed top spot paying 4.57%, which includes a 12 month bonus of 1.12%, but this is only open to new customers - transfers get a lower rate of 3.80%. Hargreaves Lansdown are next paying 4.52% - which is the best rate open to transfers in also. Monument Bank remain at 4.34% but for new customers only. Vanquis Bank improve their triple access ISA rate to 4.30% while Plum cut their rate to of 4.26%, which includes a bonus of 1.72% for 12 months. Charter Savings Bank pay the same rate as they move ahead of Atom Bank, who continue to offer 4.25% but to new subscriptions only. Principality Building Society launch a new triple access ISA paying 4.25% while Kent Reliance nudge up to 4.24%. Teachers Building Society single access ISA pays 4.20% (or 4.25% for teachers and education professionals) to complete the top 10.
Aldermore Bank pay a best buy 4.15% for their 60 Day Notice ISA. Stafford Building Society pay 4% on their 60 Day ISA but given easy access rates, it's difficult to justify looking below these two.
AlRayan Bank are the best buy offering 4.75%, also via Meteor Savings. Charter Savings Bank move up to 4.74% to take second spot with Hodge Bank at 4.73% and Tandem Bank at 4.72% alongside NatWest. Furness Building Society top the pile paying 4.91%, a whisker ahead of Tandem Bank at 4.90%. Vida Savings and Close Brothers are locked at 4.85% with Hinckley & Rugby Building Society at 4.82%.
