ISA round up - 10th August
10/08/2026
1 and 5 Year ISA best buys have seen jumps as they mirror their taxable counterparts. While we are away off the 5% being paid on fixed rate bonds, the 4.80% on 1 Year ISA and 4.85% on 5 Year ISA are great value in the current climate. Hargreaves Lansdown lead the way on easy access and the good news is they are also open to transfers in whereas often the best rates are limited to new customers only or this years subscriptions. We don't expect this rate to last more than another couple of weeks though so don't hang about. Here's our round up of the best buys and key changes in Individual Savings Accounts:
Hargreaves Lansdown lead the way paying 4.52% - which is the best rate open to transfers in also. Moneybox pay the same rate but theirs includes a 1.07% bonus for 12 months. Plum are next paying an improved rate of 4.45%, which includes a bonus of 1.91% for 12 months. Monument Bank remain at 4.34% but for new customers only. Atom Bank pay 4.25% but are only open to new subscriptions only. Coventry Building Society pay 4.25% on their 5 Access ISA which allows five withdrawals a year. Kent Reliance stay at 4.24% with Charter Savings Bankjsut behind at 4.23%. Teachers Building Society single access ISA pays 4.20% (or 4.25% for teachers and education professionals).
Aldermore Bank pay a best buy 4.15% for their 60 Day Notice ISA. Stafford Building Society pay 4% on their 60 Day ISA but given easy access rates, it's difficult to justify looking below these two.
