Savings round up - 10th August
10/08/2026
Fixed rates have hit 5% with Investec paying this for 3 Year and Atom Bank and Close Brothers for 5 Years. 1 and 2 Year Fixed rate best buys have held up too so there's some very attractive rates being paid, given the Base Rate remains at 3.75% and isn't expected to breach 4% this year. Easy access rates have eased back a touch but there's 4.52% from Cahoot (part of Santander) with no restrictions. Rates continue to look frothy, given Base Rate and the expectations for rates, but we've shared this view for sometime and rates continue to hold up.
